Email and In-App Notification Settings

Control optional Songkeeper email notifications and the dashboard notification center.

Notification settings control optional emails and whether the dashboard notification center is shown in the app. Required account, access, and security emails are not controlled by these optional preferences.

Quick answer
Turn off optional email notifications globally, or keep email enabled and choose which supported notification types can email you.

Optional Email Notifications

The email master toggle controls optional email notifications. When it is enabled, the notification preference list controls these currently configurable types:

CategoryEmail type
Sharing and collaborationWhen a shared file is approved or unapproved.
Sharing and collaborationWhen a client uploads files to an inbox.
Split sheetsWhen all writers have signed a split sheet.

Required Emails

Some email types are mandatory because they provide account, access, or recipient-facing delivery information. Examples include password reset, email verification, share invitations, subscription account messages, and similar required notifications.

In-App Notifications

The dashboard notification setting controls whether the notification bell and notification center appear in the app header. When it is off, Songkeeper hides the in-app notification center and unread count.
