Security

Two-factor authentication and account security

Two-Factor Authentication

Add an extra layer of security by enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) with an authenticator app like Google Authenticator, 1Password, or Authy.

Enabling 2FA

  1. Enter your password to confirm your identity
  2. Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (or enter the code manually)
  3. Verify with the 6-digit code from your app
  4. Save your backup codes — these are one-time-use codes for when you don't have your authenticator
Save your backup codes
Backup codes are shown only once. Copy or download them and store them somewhere safe. If you lose access to your authenticator app, backup codes are the only way to get back into your account.

OAuth Users

If you signed up with Google or another provider, 2FA is managed by that provider. The security tab will show which provider manages your authentication.
