Storage Usage and Add-Ons

Monitor Songkeeper storage usage, understand what counts toward quota, and manage storage add-ons.

Storage settings show how much account storage is in use, how much capacity comes from your plan, and how much capacity comes from storage add-ons.

Quick answer
The usage meter is backed by recording files, asset files, and contract files. Plan storage and storage add-ons combine into your total quota.

What Counts Toward Storage

Storage sourceExamples
Recording filesMixes, masters, stems, session files, and other files attached to recording versions.
Asset filesUploaded asset records stored in Songkeeper's file system.
Contract filesPrimary and supporting files stored in Contract Vault.

Storage Breakdown

The page shows used storage, available storage, plan storage, add-on storage, and total quota. The progress indicator changes color as usage gets closer to the available limit.

Adding Storage Add-Ons

If your subscription status and billing setup support storage add-ons, the page lets you add fixed-size storage blocks. The dialog shows the capacity change and the app-provided billing information before you confirm.

Removing Storage Add-Ons

You can remove add-on storage when your current usage still fits inside the smaller quota. Songkeeper checks that before applying the change.

Usage must fit
Storage add-ons cannot be removed if doing so would put your account over its new storage limit. Delete or move files first, then try again.
