Project Tasks
Review open file comments in a project, grouped by recording version and priority, then reply, complete, open, or delete feedback items.
The Tasks tab is a focused view of unresolved file comments in a project. It groups open feedback by recording version and file so you can clear review notes before delivery.
Quick answer
Project tasks are open comments on recording files or asset files. They are not separate project-wide to-dos. Mark a top-level comment complete when the feedback has been handled.
What Appears in Project Tasks?
| Item | How It Works |
|---|---|
| Recording version group | Open comments are grouped under the song and recording version they belong to. |
| File section | Each group lists the recording or asset files that still have open comments. |
| Priority | Priority is derived from the oldest open comment age. |
| Replies | Reply threads stay with the parent comment in the task view. |
Task Priority
Songkeeper calculates priority from the oldest unresolved comment in the group. Older feedback moves from low to medium, high, and urgent as it waits longer.
Working Through Feedback
- Open the project's Tasks tab.
- Expand a recording version to review the files with open comments.
- Use Open to jump to the file when you need playback or context.
- Reply when more context is needed.
- Mark the parent comment complete when the feedback has been addressed.
All caught up
When a project has no open file comments, the Tasks tab shows an empty caught-up state instead of a task list.
