Organizing Ideas

Ideas support several ways to stay organized as your collection grows:

• Tags — Add custom tags (e.g. "verse", "hook", "guitar", "beat") to categorize ideas. Tags are searchable and filterable.
• Favorites — Star your best ideas to surface them quickly with the favorites filter.
• Pinning — Pin ideas to keep them at the top of the list regardless of creation date.
• Trim — Adjust the start and end points of an idea to isolate the good part without editing the original file.
• Markers — Drop labeled markers at specific timestamps (e.g. "chorus starts here", "key change") for quick reference.
• Notes — Add text notes to capture context, lyrics, or any additional detail about the idea.

Filtering

The ideas page has a filter toolbar that lets you search by text, filter by starred/pinned/linked status, and filter by tags — so you can quickly narrow down your collection.

Bulk Actions

On the web, you can enter selection mode to act on multiple ideas at once. Bulk actions include:

• Add to Song — Add all selected ideas to the same song and recording version
• Create Song — Create a new song and add all selected ideas to it
• Tag — Apply or remove tags from all selected ideas
• Star / Unstar — Batch toggle favorites
• Pin / Unpin — Batch toggle pinning
• Delete — Delete all selected ideas and their audio files
